Senior Director of Creative Strategy and Production, For Soccer (June 2022 - Present)

  • Managing For Soccer's team of digital and social creatives, setting the strategy fundamentals across projects and guiding reports through the creative process across clients.

  • Lead, guide, review, and approve projects across the department to ensure quality standards and the accomplishment of strategic objectives of our creative work.

  • Manage project resourcing, budgets and timelines, strategically assigning internal and external creative and production resources and managing team bandwidth across projects.

  • Lead new business pitches along with fellow senior agency leadership.

  • Helped stand up Trade School, 22squared's sister agency (under Guided By Good) that specializes in smart, scaled content creation for large audience-driven brands.

  • Lead content strategies for The Home Depot, Fedex, Mailchimp, Shark/Ninja, and Buffalo Wild Wings.

  • Developing data-driven insights for briefing, guiding creative development and earning stakeholder buy-in through client presentation for social, digital, and email content campaigns.

  • Iterating creative concepts over complex media plans, aligning with objective, customer journey and best practices.

  • Creative and content production including copywriting, video pre- and post-production, art direction.

  • Led social media and digital content strategies to build fan culture and cultivate a record-breaking fan base from its inaugural season.

  • Brainstorm and storyboard digital marketing campaigns, managing content capture teams through the production process and leading projects through execution.

  • Work with external agencies to maintain brand consistency, while pitching and earning buy-in from executive and external stakeholders.

  • Led the club’s digital retail marketing initiatives, ranking #1 in MLS in retail sales.

  • Managed social media content schedules, topping the league in every social media platform in either follower count, watch time or engagement during that time.

  • Managed all editorial content, web content, design and SEO, ranking #1 in MLS in unique visitors and pageviews.

  • Content capturing and production: feature writing, photography/videography, live event coverage.

  • Coordinated between technical staff and other front office departments to ensure all business needs were being met for the first team, USL team, and the Academy teams.

  • Wrote, tracked and edited social-first video packages for digital and broadcast use.

  • Lead producer for studio shows and live pre- and postgame production, specializing in LaLiga but reaching everything from Ligue 1 to World Cup Qualifiers and the U.S. Men’s National Team.

  • Lead producer and host in weekly digital talk show/podcast recapping soccer headlines.

 Digital Strategist/Producer, Howler Magazine (Feb 2014 – Dec 2015)

  • Social media promotion for an alternative magazine and digital content collective targeting young, American soccer fans.

  • Community management, engaging with fans in real time to build brand affiliation and increase reach.

  • Launched a network of podcasts covering storytelling, culture, tactics and women's soccer that was featured on Slate, the CBC, Deadspin and more.

Senior Producer, Time Warner Cable News Austin (Aug 2010 – Nov 2015)

  • Managed a team of on-air talent and all Texas political content for our national network of news channels, including all digital content and promotion of our nightly show covering Texas politics.

  • Lead producer for special coverage of the local arts and music scene, including Austin City Limits and SXSW.

  • Producer for weekly local high school football show.
