The Nike SoCal Pack

Nike SoCal Pack

Soccer.com approached our team about helping launch the Nike SoCal Pack, limited-edition boot launch through their priority vendor Nike.

From the neon colors and SoCal shoutouts on the boots to a branded bottle of sunscreen in every box, this shoe was designed to be California summer through and through.

That includes the queens of SoCal soccer: arguably the most famous female soccer player in Alex Morgan, and the next generation, represented by young superstar Alyssa Thompson.

 

So we brought the beach to the pitch with playful pink flamingos and colorful beach chairs bringing a fun punch of color to the washed out summer soccer fields. From styling to propping, we brough a unique lock that was sure to stand out from standard athlete photography.

 

Not tied to athlete fields and schedules, we brought our boots out into the city itself for product superiority shots. In everything we did, it was about colors popping and the feel of Summer fun in everything we put out.

 

And of course we had to think beyond the photos into a full rollout, from teaser clips to supplemental content, to get multiple bites at the apple, taking advantage of this time with elite athletes to continue to drive engagement around the boot’s story.

 

And the content took off from there, spreading beyond the Nike ecosystem and into partners and even media, racking up both impressions and engagements with a pop of So Cal color taking over the feeds.

On top of the 60M+ followers tuning in from key athlete, brand, and partner accounts, earned media impressions through media and leagues, etc. creeped into the million+ range.
